The questions researchers ask us first: authorship, data, fees, revisions and what we will not do. The short answer comes first; the detail is one tap below it.
All questions
No. We mentor, edit, analyse and format; you choose the topic, collect the data, approve every chapter and sign as the sole author.
What you do
- Choose the topic, with your guide
- Apply for ethics approval in your own name
- Collect the data, which stays yours
- Read and approve every chapter before it moves on
- Sign the thesis as its sole author
What we do
- Advise on feasibility, design and methodology
- Review, restructure and edit each chapter you write
- Run the statistics and explain every table
- Format, reference and check it word by word
- Return any guide or assessor modification within seven days
Mentorship, editing, statistics and compliance. We do not ghost-author, fabricate data or appear as you before anyone, and we claim no authorship or co-authorship. Read the detailHide the detail
No. We mentor, edit, analyse and format; you remain the sole author of your thesis. A specialist mentor from your field and a scientific editor stay beside you from the research question to submission, so nothing is left for you to chase.
What you do is what makes it yours. You choose the topic with your guide, apply for ethics approval in your own name, collect the data, read and approve every chapter before it moves to the next stage, and sign the thesis. You can ask for the reasoning behind any change we suggest, and the aim throughout is that you can defend every line of it in your viva.
What we do is the work around it. We weigh feasible topics with you, guide your synopsis and format it to your university's template, help you assemble the ethics pack for your own submission, run or check the statistics and explain every table, review, restructure and edit each chapter you write, with section-by-section guidance, reference and format it, check it word by word, and turn round any guide's or assessor's modification within seven days.
What we refuse is just as fixed. We do not ghost-author, we do not fabricate or supply data, and we do not appear as you before your guide, your department, your ethics committee or your university. A request of that kind ends the enquiry; it does not open a negotiation.
We claim no authorship and no co-authorship. We keep a record of the assistance we give, and where your institution or a journal asks for writing, editing or statistical help to be disclosed, we help you disclose it in the form they require.
Practising postgraduate teachers (MD / MS / DM / MCh) who guide theses in their own departments. Yours is matched to your specialty, and you are told who it is before you pay.
Senior doctor in your specialty
A practising postgraduate teacher. Judges feasibility, shapes the design and methodology, and reviews every chapter.
Scientific editor
Reviews, restructures and edits your drafts under the doctor's direction, in your university's format and reference style.
Biostatistician
Joins when your design needs one. Cleans the master chart, runs the analysis and explains each table.

Practising postgraduate teachers and specialists (MD / MS / DM / MCh) with thesis-guiding experience in their own departments. Your doctor mentor is matched to your specialty and stays with the work throughout, from topic feasibility to viva preparation.
You are not asked to pick a name from a page. On the feasibility call we tell you which senior doctor in your field would take your thesis, their degree and their department, and you decide before you pay anything. Once assigned, your team is named in your dashboard and stays with the thesis until submission.
Around the doctor sit a scientific editor, who reviews, restructures and edits your drafts under the doctor's direction, and a biostatistician, who joins when your design needs one. They are a panel of mentors and not a faculty of any institution; MDThesis is not a teaching institution.
The public panel register is still being published. Until every entry has been verified and has consented, we list no names on this site rather than fill it with profiles we cannot stand behind.

Your dashboard is the record. It shows a live timeline from onboarding to delivery, each stage dated as it completes, every draft that has been uploaded, your pinned comments and your payments.
The timeline runs stage by stage: onboarding, topic, synopsis, ethics committee, data collection, analysis, chapter writing, senior doctor review, your own review, revisions, final formatting, the similarity check and delivery. The stage you are in says in plain words what is happening and who is holding it, so you can tell at a glance whether the thesis is waiting for us, for you, for your guide or for your ethics committee.
Statutory dates that belong to your board, such as the NBEMS protocol and submission windows, sit on the same record. We track those dates with you; we cannot extend them.
Conversation about a draft happens on the draft. Your editor and mentor reply in the comment thread attached to the page you pinned, so a decision is never buried in a chat you cannot find later.
Click the exact spot on the page and pin a note: edit, add, remove or question. Your team replies there and resolves it in the next version.

Every draft opens in a secure viewer inside your account. Click any spot on any page, say page 10, and pin a note: edit, add, remove or ask a question. Your editor and mentor see exactly where you mean, reply in the thread and mark it resolved. No emailing marked-up printouts.
There are four kinds of note, so the team knows what you want before reading a word: Edit for wording you want changed, Add for something that is missing, Remove for something to take out, and Question for anything you want explained.
Each note opens a thread. Your editor and your mentor reply there, and when the change has been made in the next version the note is marked resolved. Every version stays on your record with the notes that were placed on it.
You can try it now without an account: the specimen draft at the top of the homepage lets you pin notes on a page. It is our own sample writing, and nothing you type there is saved or sent.

You review every draft before your next payment, online in the watermarked viewer in your dashboard, and pin your comments on the page. Once your final amount is paid, the download of the final formatted thesis unlocks in your dashboard.
Until the fee for a deliverable is settled in full it is available to read in the secure viewer, as often as you like, with your own name watermarked on every page. Nothing is withheld from your review before then; only the file is.
On full payment the final deliverable unlocks for download in your dashboard, and it is licensed to you for your own academic use, including submission to your institution.
Our own similarity engine, built with REDENN Informatics Inc., Canada. It reads every draft word by word and flags what needs a citation or rephrasing in your own words; its results may differ from your institution's own report.

A sentence written for this illustration. MDSoftune's results depend on the sources and settings available to it, and may differ from your institution's own report. Read the detailHide the detail
MDSoftune is our proprietary uniqueness engine, developed with REDENN Informatics Inc., Canada. It reads your thesis at word and phrase level, treats standard clinical and statistical phrasing differently from a distinctive borrowed sequence, and flags the passages that need a citation or rephrasing in your own words. It is an additional review before your university's Turnitin or Drillbit check, and every draft ships with its report. Its results depend on the sources and settings available to it, and may differ from your institution's own report.
A medical thesis misleads a similarity percentage in two directions at once. Routine sentences, such as how patients were allocated or which test was applied, can only be written one accurate way, so they add to the figure although they are yours. And a short borrowed run of words inside an otherwise original sentence barely moves the figure at all, although it is exactly what an examiner would notice.
So MDSoftune reads word by word and then asks which phrase each word belongs to. Standard clinical and statistical phrasing is left alone; a distinctive sequence is flagged, and you either cite the passage properly or put it into your own words, with the citation kept. It is never used to disguise copied content or to get round an academic-integrity check.
We work to the UGC 2018 convention of under 10% similarity as a standard, not as a promised result, and we make no promise about the score on any system we do not operate.
Yes. We work to NMC PGMER-2023, the NBEMS thesis guidelines and your own university's format. We are independent of all of them.

Standards we work to. MDThesis is independent: it is not affiliated with, approved by or endorsed by any of these bodies, or by any university. Where your institution's rule differs, your institution's rule governs. Read the detailHide the detail
Yes. We follow NMC PGMER-2023 thesis requirements, NBEMS thesis guidelines for DNB/DrNB (protocol within 180 days, thesis by 26 months, 80-page limit) and your university's own format. MDThesis is an independent service and is not affiliated with NMC or NBEMS.
For MD and MS candidates the governing instrument is the NMC's PGMER-2023 together with your own university's ordinance, which sets the format, the length and the dates. For DNB and DrNB candidates it is the NBEMS thesis guidelines, whose clocks run from your own joining date.
We also work to the UGC 2018 convention on similarity, the ICMR 2017 guidance on research ethics, and the ICMJE recommendations and Vancouver style for references. Where your institution's rule differs from anything we have written, your institution's rule governs, and we would rather you told us than assumed.
MDThesis holds no influence over any committee, examiner or guide, and it promises no grade, pass or approval. What it can do is make sure the thesis that goes in front of them was built to the rules they apply.
Not from us, and the fee does not change with length. The limit is your board's or your university's: 80 pages for DNB and DrNB under NBEMS.

Not from us. The thesis runs to whatever length your university's ordinance or your board requires, and the fee does not change with the page count. The 80-page cap is NBEMS's rule for DNB and DrNB submissions; MD and MS candidates follow their own university's limit, or none where none is stated.
The limit we work to is taken from what you tell us about your board and your university, so check your ordinance before we begin. A thesis drafted to the wrong limit has to be cut late, and cutting late is how good chapters get damaged.
Every fee is published and billed in INR. You pay in two or three instalments tied to milestones: usually 40%, 40% and 20%.

The indicative three-instalment split of any published fee; two instalments of 50% each is the other option. Billed in INR. Any tax payable is charged in addition where it applies. Read the detailHide the detail
Fees are published per service and billed in Indian rupees (INR); a figure in your local currency is an estimate for reference. Most students pay in two or three instalments tied to milestones. Indian students can use UPI, cards, net-banking or EMI via Razorpay; international students pay by card.
The usual split is three instalments against delivery: 40% on booking, 40% on the first full draft and 20% before the final download. Two instalments of 50% each is the other option. Work on a milestone begins when its instalment is settled, so a delayed instalment delays that stage rather than compressing it.
You read and comment on every draft before the next instalment falls due. Any tax payable is charged in addition where it applies and is shown separately on your invoice. Work outside your written scope is quoted separately and starts only when you accept the quotation in writing; we do not do unscoped work and invoice for it afterwards.
If you cancel before your team is assigned and any work begins, the first instalment is refunded in full. Once work has started, milestones already delivered are not refundable and unused instalments are refunded pro-rata. The refund policy on this site sets that out in full.

The modified draft is in your record within seven days of our receiving the remarks.
Your team
Seven days is our service commitment on every plan (terms, clause 4.9). It is not a promise of acceptance, and it does not move any statutory window, such as NBEMS's six weeks for a modified thesis. Read the detailHide the detail
That is our job, not your worry. Pin the guide's comments in the viewer, or send us the assessor's remarks, and the modified draft is back in your record within seven days of our receiving them, on every plan. Revisions until your guide signs off are included in the Thesis service.
The seven days run from the day we receive the written remarks together with any data or decision they need from you, and it is our service commitment on every plan. It is not a promise that the change will be accepted, and it does not move any statutory window: NBEMS's six weeks for a modified thesis, for example, runs from the board's communication and not from ours.
A revision is a correction, refinement or reworking of what was delivered, and revisions are included as stated for your plan. A change of topic, design, dataset or university format after a stage has been approved is new work, and it is quoted separately before anything is done.
Each service has a published typical duration, from a few days to a few months. It depends on how fast your approvals and data arrive.
- Thesis1 week to 3 months, by stage

Each service publishes a typical duration on the pricing page, from about a week for a single stage to a few months for the whole thesis. It is our working time, and it depends on how quickly your ethics committee, your guide and your data collection move; those dates sit on the same record so you can see which of us a stage is waiting for.
A typical duration assumes that your approvals, data, decisions and replies arrive as scheduled. No duration we state, other than the seven-day modification turnaround, is a guarantee of submission by a particular date.
If your deadline is close, say so in your enquiry. A senior doctor will tell you plainly what is still achievable in the time left, and what is not, before you pay anything.
No. Nobody honest can. Approval belongs to your guide, your committee and your university, and publication to a journal's editor. We make sure the work put in front of them is sound and built to their rules.
You do. The question, the data, the analysis and the thesis are yours. We claim no authorship or co-authorship, keep your files private to you and your assigned team, and help you disclose our help wherever your institution or journal asks.
De-identified data only. Remove names, hospital or registration numbers, addresses, phone numbers and any other direct identifier before you share a file. If a column could identify a patient, leave it out or ask us first.
Yes. A biostatistician runs the analysis in SPSS or R, or checks one you have already run, states and justifies every test, and explains each table until you can defend it in your viva or to a reviewer.
Usually, yes, provided the data were collected after ethics approval. We check the master chart first, tell you what the data can and cannot answer, and then plan the analysis. We do not alter or add data.
Yes: residency scholarly projects and fellowship research in the US and Canada, MSc, MRes and MD(Res) dissertations in the UK, college projects in Australia and New Zealand, and theses across South Asia, the Gulf and Africa. Your own programme's rules come first.
