Part I

The cookies this site sets

  1. Clause 1.1

    Sign-in session

    Set only when you sign in to your dashboard, by our sign-in provider (Supabase). It keeps you signed in and is removed when you sign out or the session expires. The dashboard cannot work without it.

  2. Clause 1.2

    mdt_currency

    Remembers the currency used for fee estimates. It is set from your country on your first visit, or from your own choice, and lasts 180 days.

  3. Clause 1.3

    mdt_country

    A two-letter country code taken from your connection. It is used only to suggest the page and currency for where you appear to be, never to change a price or to redirect you, and lasts 30 days.

  4. Clause 1.4

    mdt_region

    The region you chose on the site, if you chose one. It lasts 180 days.

  5. Clause 1.5

    mdt_chat

    Set only if you open the chat. It keeps your conversation together across pages, cannot be read by scripts on the page, and lasts 30 days.

Part II

What is kept in your browser's own storage

  1. Clause 2.1

    mdt_attr_first

    The first page you landed on, the website that referred you (its address only) and any campaign tags in the link. It stays on your device and is sent to us only if you send an enquiry.

  2. Clause 2.2

    mdt_attr_last and mdt_attr_cta

    The landing page of this visit and the last button you pressed. They are cleared when you close the tab, and are sent to us only with an enquiry.

  3. Clause 2.3

    mdt_region_hint_dismissed

    Remembers that you closed the region suggestion, so it is not shown again.

Part III

Third parties

  1. Clause 3.1

    No advertising or analytics cookies

    No advertising network, tracking pixel or third-party analytics service runs on this site.

  2. Clause 3.2

    Videos

    Videos are embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode and nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. From then, YouTube's own cookie and privacy policies apply to that video.

  3. Clause 3.3

    Payments

    When you pay, the payment gateway's own page may set its own cookies, under its own policy.

Part IV

Your control, and changes

  1. Clause 4.1

    Clearing or blocking

    You can clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser's settings. The public site works without them; only the dashboard needs the sign-in cookie.

  2. Clause 4.2

    Changes

    If we add or change a cookie, this policy is updated first, and its revision number and review date change with it.
